Cherrywood T9, T10, T11

Our landscape design for the Cherrywood T9–T10 and T11 residential schemes delivers a connected, people-centred environment within the western portion of the Cherrywood SDZ. Located just south of Dublin City, T9–T10 form a unified residential neighbourhood, with the T11 development positioned immediately to the north. The projects benefit from an exceptional green infrastructure network, including Beckett Park to the northeast, Tully Park to the southeast and the future Lehaunstown Park directly to the south.

The T9–T10 landscape is arranged around clear, walkable streets, supported by pocket plazas, natural play areas and home zones that foster social interaction and create a safe, child-friendly public realm. SuDS features such as swales and tree pits form an integral part of a resilient landscape strategy. With major parks within easy reach, the on-site design focuses on high-quality streetscapes, playful elements and strong permeability to Cherrywood’s cycle and pedestrian network.

At T11, the landscape approach builds on these principles, with a focus on providing meaningful amenity within a more urban context. A communal open space, located within the podium courtyard, acts as a multifunctional central amenity for residents. Here, a dedicated playful zone is created without formal play equipment; instead, sculpted natural elements invite imagination, exploration and sensory engagement. This approach encourages creative, open-ended play while maintaining flexibility and visual calm within the courtyard.

Complemented by a community garden, play-on-the-way features and a human-scaled streetscape along Castle Street, T11 promotes everyday social connection and accessible movement throughout the site.

Together, T9–T10 and T11 establish welcoming, sustainable and connected landscapes that support vibrant community life within Cherrywood’s growing neighbourhood.
