Tree Survey, Assessment & Management Plan, West Dublin

This large-scale tree management project in West Dublin involved the detailed survey and assessment of approximately 3,000 individual trees within 125 tree groups across an extensive area of land. The purpose of the project was to gain a comprehensive understanding of the existing tree stock and to provide guidance for future management and development planning.

Our role on the project was to prepare a full tree inventory, assessing each tree and group for species, condition, and required management works. A detailed schedule of maintenance and recommendations was produced, with works prioritised as low, medium, or high to assist with phased implementation. The plan also addressed both individual tree care and broader woodland and group management strategies.

The survey provides a valuable resource for informed decision-making on the future of the site, supporting sustainable management, biodiversity enhancement, and the creation of green corridors. The information gathered forms an essential foundation for integrating existing trees into future land use and landscape design.
