The brief for the redevelopment of the Wanderers RFC grounds involved the upgrading of the facilities at the Club to include a new all weather pitch and an improved grass pitch.
The redevelopment aims to support the club’s growth, improve facilities, and enhance player experience for its members.
Our role on the project was to prepare an inventory of all the existing trees and overgrown hedges on the site and develop a management plan for their phased removal and replanting with more suitable species.
The majority of trees on the site were over mature Cypress and Poplar and were in decline. We prepared a management plan for their phased removal and replanting, and oversaw the safe completion of the works.
The scheme was completed in 2024.
